Global and National Problems of Economy – it is an electronic scientific professional publication, founded by the V.O. Sukhomlynskyi National University of Mykolaiv in 2014.

Subjects: according to the branch of science «08.00.00 – Economic Sciences» in conformity with the current list of branches of sciences.

The publication is included in the “List of electronic professional publication authorized to publish theses of applicants for the degree of doctor and candidate of sciences” in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine on 29 December 2014 № 1528 (Annex № 11).

The purpose of the electronic scientific journal “Global and National Problems of Economy” is the public declaration of the results of scientific researches in various branches of economics with the help of open access to publications of researchers.

This purpose determines main tasks:
- favour creation of open information environment, which ensures interaction between leading specialists and young scientists in the field of economy;
- promote development of international cooperation of specialists in the field of theory and practice of economic research;
- contribute to development of scientific school of the Faculty of Economics of the V.O. Sukhomlynskyi National University of Mykolaiv, extension of relations with scientific and educational communities;
- shorten time required for publication of relevant materials on economic themes;
- provide easy, comfortable and immediate access to the informational materials on the theory and practice of economics.
